I blog about at least two Malaysian towns (not cities) and one formerly-known-as-a-city town. I think city bloggers should network. I haven’t heard from your friend in Canada running who initiated the global network of cities.
Unlike in big countries, geographically-wise, eg. USA, Canada, EU nations, Australia, Indonesia, India etc, we Malaysians are more state-centric rather than city-centric. Blogging about states or larger metro areas/provinces would be more suitable than just small city (all cities in Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur is too small compared to neighboring ones, eg. Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok etc.)
CJCM: You are right.. we are too small compared to other cities…but being Malaysian city bloggers will not be confined to just the cities or the towns… the bloggers can cover the entire state as well… even across state borders if it is relevant.
