PayPal finally resolved withdrawal to credit card technical issue

Posted by CJCM In category PayPal

I had tried to withdraw some fund from my PayPal account to my credit card account on 25th Jan 2008. The entire process was very simple to follow, no doubt about that… but few days later I had received an email from PayPal informing me about a technical problem that had prevented the transaction from being completed. Just today, I received another email from PayPal informing me again that the technical issue had finally been resolved…. I am not sure what was the problem but if it took more than one month to resolve…. it must have been quite major. Whatever it is, I am glad it is now over. Upon checking my PayPal account, the transaction is now tagged as ‘Completed’ but I am yet to see this transaction reflected in my credit card statement. It is interesting to see how much my local bank would charge for withrawing PayPal into my credit card account (actually this is similar like paying my credit card … it is just that instead of paying by cash, I was using PayPal… I will be surprised if they charge something else (apart from the exchange rate) for paying my credit card….if you know what I mean). I will keep you posted.

We recently notified you of a technical issue that was delaying withdrawals to your credit card. We have resolved this issue. All previously delayed withdrawals to your cards should now be displayed as ‘completed’ within your PayPal account.

These funds may have already posted to your card balance or will do so in the next 3 to 5 days.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your business.

Thank you,

PayPal
