BlogRolled… latest make money online tool for bloggers

Posted by CJCM

There is a new service for bloggers to make money online. BlogRolled is very much similar to Text Link Ads (TLA). Bloggers join as publishers and website owners join as advertisers. Advertisers login into their accounts and search for relevant blogs to purchase text links on the blogs. Each blog owned by publishers is allowed to have a maximum of 10 text links on the blog. Once the advertisers purchase the text links on a blog, the owner of the blog will be notified and he/she has to place the text link advertisement in his/her blogroll.

The whole idea is to provide quality backlinks to the advertisers websites from the publishers blogs. The blog owners will be paid monthly via PayPal. It doesn’t say (at least I can’t find it) though how much is the split between the publishers and BlogRolled.

It is so simple to join so go check it out and perhaps give it a try… who knows this might add few dollars to your PayPal account.

Develop money-making niche sites using Wordpress

Posted by CJCM

There are so many ways to make money on the internet. Blogging is one of them. When it comes to making money via blogging, Wordpress is almost the de-facto standard. I started blogging using the free stuff at www.blogspot.com but after only 4 entries, I moved my blog to Wordpress and I have not looked back since.

Another method of making money in the internet is to create a niche site. Niche site by nature is a very small website but the contents are highy specialized, only related to the niche of the site. While Wordpress is traditionally used for creating highly interactive and frequently updated blogs and websites, it can also be used to create highly static niche sites that requires minimal updates. That is the beauty of Wordpress.

Caroline Middlebrook’s free ebook - Build Niche Sites with WordPressI just came across Caroline Middlebrook’s free e-book on how to build such niche sites using the Wordpress Content Management SYstem (CMS). If you are into niche sites building, I highly recommend this free e-book which was based on Caroline’s real-life experience of building niche sites. If you are not yet into niche sites, her e-book will give you a good introduction and lead you to start building your first niche site effortlessly, using Wordpress of course. And again, it’s FREE.

Thanks Caroline for for sharing with us your valuable experience and made it available to all of us as free e-book. Have a nice day!!

Agloco Viewbar has arrived

Posted by CJCM

AGLOCO
I first blogged about Agloco way back in December 2006. At that time, Agloco just existed in name. Nothing more, nothing less. The business concept of Agloco is simple though. Join Agloco as member, download the Agloco Viewbar and surf internet as normal. You can also refer someone to join Agloco and will be appropriately rewarded for that. Agloco however a step further in terms of its business operating principle. The company is owned by you… at least what is claimed by the founders of Agloco… by virtue that you can either get paid by cash or by share, if you prefer.

That was just a story then and many people viewed Agloco as just another scam. And I believe until today many people still believe so. I rather take a different approach and joined Agloco and wait to see what had happened.

Recently, Agloco had sent emails informing all its members that had registered during pre-launch about the much awaited Viewbar which is ready for download. I tried to download once but the traffic was so heavy that it was just not possible to download so I backoff for a while and today I managed to download and install the Viewbar.

After installation, you will signon to Agloco and the Viewbar will be sitting very unobstructively at the bottom of your screen above your Window bar. Thats where the text advertisements will be served and displayed.

Well, I haven’t seen real money yet, but the Viewbar is really conveniently located and does not bother me at all. So let’s see if I can really own the internet as claimed by Agloco… and make some extra cash. You can also own the internet if you wish… :)

SlashMySearch starts paying its affiliates

Posted by CJCM

SlashMySearch, get paid for using search engineI blogged about a new way to earn extra income by using a search engine SlashMySearch sometime in Fabruary. There has been some update today by SlashMySearch and its good news for all affiliates. SlashMySearch has started to pay its members. All you have to do is to click request payment from your affiliate control panel, however the minium amount is USD50 but that had been reduced to USD45. According to SlashMySearch, the amoung will be further reduced in the future to USD20.

With this new development, SlashMySearch has proved that it is not a scam and has lived up to its promise. I must say there have been many hiccups using SlashMySearch at beginning but that is normal in a beta stage for any new service, however a lot of issues had been resolved along the way and SlashMySearch is now, in my humble opinion, a new search engine force to be reckoned with.

I like to thank all those affiliates that had joined under my affiliate. For those who have not started earning from using this new search engine, please click here to learn more and start earning additional income from SlashMySearch. Good luck!

SponsoredReviews officially launched

Posted by CJCM

SponsoredReviews - win-win for bloggers and advertisersI joined a new web advertising program called SponsoredReviews sometime in mid January 2007. At that time the program was at the beta testing stage so I just joined and requested to be notified upon its launch. SponsoredReviews had been officially launched recently and I just got my first order from them. The first assignment is to review the SponsoredReviews itself.

It looks like the trend among web advertising companies such as PayPerPost, RevewMe, CreamAid and now SponsoredReview is to always to review itself, which I think is important to create buzz among internet communities. After all web advertising companies also need to promote themselves too, right?

So what is SponsoredReviews? Do I need to go in detail? With all the buzz, publicity and even controversy around pay-per-post schemes, it is suffice to say SponsoredReviews is not much different from other web advertising services that offers opportunity for advertisers to get their products and services reviewed by bloggers. The bloggers in turn get paid for their review services.

Despite the similarity in the services offered by other paid advertising companies, SponsoredReviews has it own unique identities and features. The part that I think most bloggers like best is the fact that SponsoredReviews pays bloggers every two weeks after the assignments are completed. Other paid advertising companies normally companies pay bloggers one month after the assignments are completed. Now that is a big plus for bloggers.

Bloggers are also not required to write only positive reviews. As a matter of fact, constructive critisms are expected so that quality of the products and services being reviewed can be improved from bloggers feedback.

From advertisers point of veiw, SponsoredReviews has other advantages as well. SponsoredReviews offers a low transaction fees of only 35% while they claim their competitors charge 50%.

Another good point of the system is that SponsoredReviews offers a Two-way system where advertisers and bloggers can search for each other for assignments. This is definitely unique feature of SponsoredReviews. In other programs, advertisers posts available opportunities and wait for bloggers to reply with offer to review their services, although the advertisrs can reject the reviews if it does not meet their requirements. With SponsoredReviews’s ability to search for each other, advertisers who place greater emphasize on the quality of bloggers now have the option to search for a good blogger in the pool of bloggers and make an offer. But I am not sure if advertisers would want to go through that process. Maybe they prefer the bloggers looking for them instead. Whatever that may be, the option is there and advertisers now have the opportunity to pick the best bloggers to review their products and services.

Other features of SponsoredReviews include Automated Rating System which will make it easy for advertisers to find high quality blogs. Sponsored Reviews’s bidding system allows both advertisers and publishers to negotiate pricing although bloggers will be able to set their own prices with manual pricing. SponsoredReviews’s system will make recommendations based on their Automated Ratings System, but bloggers will be able to choose their own prices. Of course the final prices will have to be agreed by both advertisers and bloggers.

So what are you waiting for? If you have good blogs, I would suggest that you register with SponsoredReviews and have an opportunity to monetize your blogs in a new way. Advertisers should also take advantage of the many features available to promote your products and services over the internet. Bloggers Earn Cash, Advertisers Build Buzz. I am off to seek more opportunities and get paid in two weeks time.. :)

This is a sponsored post.

Top Ten Bid, another new web directory by Alang

Posted by CJCM

Top Ten Bid

Although we have never met in person, I have known Alang for as long as I am involved in blogging and internet business. It was from him that I learn how to earn money online through web directory and articles directory. Subsequently, we became partners where I am the editor for PDAs Review, a blog that is part of by Alang’s SZAB Network. Alang expertise and resourcefullness in web directory is second to none among Malaysians, if not the blogosphere. He had came up with many ideas of earning money through web directory. 50 Pages Website, Ventedoy are two of his unique ideas of web directory.

Alang had just launched another interesting web directory concept called Top Ten Bid. I think you already know roughly what that means, but to know more I will let Alang does the telling himself. You can find how it works here at his blog (in Malay language) If you dont read Malay, worry you can read how it works here in English. The idea for Top Ten Bid is derived from DollarLinking.com,according to Alang.

Yes, I have placed 3 bids for my three sites CJCMedia Network, CJCM and IT and Kuala Lumpur is Home. I think I am the first to place the bids there.

Congratulation Alang on your new business idea.
